I just decided to start with a picture of the Empire State Building because I’m literally steps away from it. I had a livejournal but I want a change. I’m debating declaring a journalism minor so I figure this will help my skills? Plus, this is so much easier to understand rather than livejournal.
I have a midterm tonight in Contemporary Art History and I am so nervous about it. I really don’t understand the significance of any of the pieces I was supposed to study. I was up until 2 am last night googling each of them to find something that I could study from. I also have to know the year each piece was made. I really have trouble believing that the year is going to be all that important but c’est la vie.
I haven’t gone to my Hebrew Scripture class in 3 weeks for various reasons. I have to go this week because I have a paper due next week and it would certainly help to know which part of the bible I was supposed to be writing this paper on.
English is just english. We had our midterm last week and I always panic during timed writes so of course my paper consisted just random ideas with lots of scribbles. I’ve gotten A’s on the last two papers so hopefully this won’t affect me too much.
And Public Speaking is just useless. I don’t have a problem speaking in public. I sing in public on a regular basis. This is just silly.
I get to register for spring classes in two weeks and I’ve decided to take photography, astronomy, controversial criminal cases, a seminar in tabloid journalism, and another english. I need to take something called a Learning Community but I haven’t been able to find one that fits my schedule or my interests. I’m annoyed because at orienatation I was told I didn’t have to take one because I was a transfer but someone else said I didn’t have enough transfer credits so I did have to take the class. I’m debating just not taking one since I was told I didn’t have to take one.
Tomorrow is election day and I’m going to Jersey tonight to vote tomorrow since I’m an idiot and didn’t send in an absentee ballot when I was supposed to. I don’t understand why New York can’t have same day registration. A handful of states already enacted the practice and it would make things so much easier. Regarding who I’m voting for, I still don’t know.
Oh well.
